UV Coating
A tough, proprietary, non-aqueous solid coating that offers the highest level of water resistance available.
Aqueous coatings (satin and clear) contain approximately 35% solids and 65% water. UV coating contains 100% solids, which provide greater protection. 1 millimeter of aqueous coating nets to approximately .4 millimeter.
A 1-millimeter UV coating is a true 1-millimeter of coating.
Machine Texture
Three types of machine texturing are available. Linen offers a finished, upscale finish to images. Pebble, a deeper texture, renders a larger print "complete", adding dimension and depth to the image. Pebble is also used by many professional photographers to prevent illegal scanning of their work. Embassy texture is a combination of the Linen and Pebble textures.
